We are a family-run farm that loves animals. As our family (and our herd!) have grown, we have raised animals to teach our kids the value of hard work and agricultural knowledge.
Now we want to share our animals with our community to help solve a common need of land owners: clearing out hard to access landscapes. We also offer beef shares and have free range fresh brown eggs. In the future there are plans to offer a full selection of hydroponic vegetables. Our homestead is located in Berks County Pennsylvania.
What started as a hobby and side project is now a new business venture – help support our family business by spreading the word about our services!
Our Family
Our family of 5, started with JD and Nicole meeting at Delaware Valley College both studying some sort of agricultural degree. Nicole’s love for horses has grown stronger as she has started a family and had opportunities to help people through PATH certification and other therapeutic riding opportunities. She teaches able-bodied lessons as well as therapeutic lessons. She has her British Horse Society certifications that she has used throughout the years to help riders grow and learn a very complete way of riding and connecting with the horse. JD had studied agronomy in college and used his knowledge through the years of row crop research in many different locations and now as an Agronomist for a local company assisting farmers improving their operations. Zoey loves her cattle and is raising a small herd of Shorthorn and Shorthorn plus heifers and calves. Sam enjoys baseball and showing his steers that he’s purchased over the years. He’s very competitive in livestock judging as well. Tate loves his sheep and is working toward a flock of show quality Suffolks and Dorset Advantage ewes and lambs.
